Discmania C-line CD1
Speed: 9 | Glide: 5 | Turn: -1 | Fade: 2
Plastic: C-line | Weight: 170 – 175g
Known as the CD2 during Discmania's US manufacturing era, this popular model has been revived with a new name – CD1.
The letters "CD" in the name stand for Control Driver, putting you fully in control and allowing you to shape the disc exactly as you wish. CD1 is an excellent first distance driver for less powerful or skilled players and an incredibly useful disc for experts as well. Those with a bit more arm speed will find that this disc often competes for distance even with their fastest drivers, yet the execution feels easier and more controlled.
CD1 easily handles nearly any wind conditions but is best suited for tailwinds and calmer weather. Players will notice that CD1 tends to fly similarly to a well-seasoned PD, giving you the right amount of glide and shot-shaping capabilities, but will always maintain enough stability to finish with a smooth low-speed fade. If you could only have one disc to play with, this would be an excellent choice.
